Do not place excessive tension on the InfiniBand cables by pulling them. Care should be taken when handling the InfiniBand cables, which are normally latched securely. This could cause the rack to be unavailable. Unlatching the InfiniBand cables while removing or inserting PDU-A may cause a loss of service due to nodes being removed from the cluster.
Before replacing a PDU, the following guidelines should be reviewed to ensure the procedure is safe and does not disrupt availability:
