Don't attack into an enemy with over 1700 ATK if they have a back row, and try and keep some protection up for Magician in case they end of turn windstorm you. If you do resolve a fast LV 8, you can typically afford to play around Mirror Wall and Windstorm, the two most common forms of trap disruption right now.
Very few Red-Eyes will be able to beat you if you can resolve this immediately and play around their face downs. Since it has a stunningly high 3500 ATK, even 3 Red-Eyes with Beatdown can not get over it. It has protection from the majority of the most used disruption and removal tools in the game, and forces your opponent to play a different game entirely. I'm going to be honest, the main reason I'm playing this deck is that I never want to lose to Ice Barriers again, and this deck will win every game where you resolve a turn 1 LV 8 against them. With the way the meta is right now, resolving this guy on turn 1 can be a guaranteed win, as long as you are smart and know what you are playing against. With Restart, I've started 9 of my 10 games with the Combo in hand. So the idea is to either turn one LV 8, or stall until you grab the combo of Level up and LV 4. One loss to a brick hand, one to a person I played poorly against who had tons of traps. Only a few games in, but I'm currently sitting at 8-2 in my last 10 games.
